Our family-oriented facility promotes a positive learning environment for riders from ages 5 to 99. We are located 15 minutes from the sqaure in Medina. Family owned and operated since 1996.

Riding Academy

The goal of our riding academy is to allow students of all ages and levels the opportunity to learn more about riding and the sport of dressage. From those who have never even heard of "posting to trot" to those who have ridden at the Prix St. George level, we can further your equine skills!
We currently have two proven show horses available for you to train on, or we will gladly accomodate training on your own horse. We offer private, semi-private and group lesson packages during daytime and evening hours.  Click here to see our rates.

Beginners can expect to learn:

  • Proper equine handling, including how to properly halter, lead, tack and untack a horse
  • Equine safety
  • How to care for horses, including grooming and feeding
  • How to properly mount and dismount a horse
  • Basic riding skills such as walking, trotting, steering and halting

    Training Center

All training by FEI competitor and USDF bronze and silver medalist Kelli Flanagan-Kovacik

Kelli, like many horse-crazy young girls, began riding at the age of 7. Like most kids that begin riding, Kelli began riding hunt seat once a week. This quickly became “not enough of horses” for her, so she began working in the barn by tacking up school horses for the lesson program and doing other odd jobs around the stable. This allowed her to live, eat, breathe and sleep horses for at least a few days a week.

Now, twenty years later, she has progressed far in the world of dressage. In addition to showing at the international level, she has also coached many of her students to greater successes at numerous dressage events. She is currently a student of world-renowned dressage rider and trainer, George Williams, and will be coaching the 2008 Oberlin College Dressage Team.

Congratulations to Melissa Victor on her purchase of Pancho. We wish them both the best of luck!

Kind and loving, this 1992 TB gelding is looking for someone to love! He is currently used in a dressage lesson program for intermediate riders and above. He is ready to show first level and is schooling second level. Pancho also easily jumps two (2) feet. He is a dark bay and stands 16.1 hands tall. Pancho is eager to work and loves to be rewarded with apples! He stands beautifully for the farrier and vet, he clips, cross ties, bathes and loads like a dream. Pancho is looking for someone to fully utilize him to his full potential! Price negotiable to the right home. Must sell to make room for clients' horses. Video available on youtube.com.
